Journalism students or journalists interested in learning how to use data, design and code to help tell stories can attend this free training.
ProPublica is organizing its Summer Data Institute, a 10-day intensive workshop on how to use data, design and code for journalism. The workshop will take place June 1 to 15 in New York.
The program will cover the basics of brainstorming, reporting, designing and building interactive graphics and data-driven news applications.
Participants will receive lodging, roundtrip travel to New York and local transportation.
The deadline is March 31.
