Walter Benjamin Foundation hosts photo contest

Professional or amateur photographers living in Latin America can participate in this contest.

The Walter Benjamin Foundation, along with the Fundación Arcor, launched the 10th edition of its photography competition shedding light on the struggles facing children in Latin America.

The “Infancias: Varios Mundos” project seeks to bring special focus to the fundamental rights that all children deserve, including the rights to safety, privacy and healthy living.

Photographers can submit up to five images. Special consideration will be given to photographs that focus on cultural diversity, education, healthy living or civic engagement.

Winning images will be used in an exhibition and will be published in a book celebrating the 10th anniversary of the “Infancias: Varios Mundos” project. Other prizes will be announced at a later date.

Images will be accepted until May 5.
